Our
Challenge to Change
For many years, Remember Your Health has had a passion
for developing a program that would benefit anyone who truly
believed they would be better off if they led a more balanced
life.
In the early stages of development, we offered The
Goal Tree. The Goal Tree represented the pursuit
of certain goals in life and was a tool for identifying
what factors interfered with reaching those goals. We knew
then that we were on the right track but needed to offer
more guidance.
We spent a lot of time examining our own lives and sought
the counsel of our friends, family and colleagues to identify
what did and did not work in their lives. We observed successful
people: business professionals, coaches, athletes, educators,
physicians, personal trainers, dieticians, psychologists,
financial planners and spiritual leaders. At the same time,
we looked at what holds many people back for living a life
of balance. We wanted to better understand why someone very
successful in one or more areas of life struggled in others.
We sought to help people who did things that weren’t
in their best interest.
As we examined our own lives and the stories shared by
others, it became obvious that we share the common bond
of having to face challenges, the hardest being to become
balanced: to take care of ourselves physically and emotionally,
to have relationships that last, to be financially sound,
to feel good about our purpose in life, and to have a spiritual
connection. We found that it is difficult to make long-term
changes that require hard work and sacrifice, even when
it’s obvious that change is necessary. With these
things in mind, we started writing down all the great advice
people shared with us. This guidance helped us to realize
that each area of life has some basic principles
that would work for anyone who wanted to be balanced.
After testing many different versions over the years, Remember
Your Health has completed our mission with The Basics.
We developed a tool based on the advice we received which
includes guidance that will stay relevant and constant amid
a lifetime of change. We structured the guide in a way that
will be easy to reference so you won’t forget
what works. This is a guide you can always use
at any age and at any time. It is your tool for being your
own life coach, making it easy for you to identify problems
in your life and make the best decision as to how to solve
them.
Life is better with balance. All of us
at Remember Your Health want to share this lifestyle with
you and help guide you into a transformation of your own.
Living by The Basics, will allow you to become
the Totally Balanced person you are capable of
being.
